Spectacular ivory coloured satin and lace vintage wedding gown. This fabulous gown has 3" wide insertions of lace on the bodice, sleeves,on the whole length of the gown and around the magnificent train. The front is adorned with five self material rosebuds, three tiny covered buttons on the back waistline to loop up the train for storage. Fastening with press studs on each cuff and having a placket on the side with tiny enclosed buttons. Measuring 57.1/2" long at front, 36" bust, 28" waist. 14" across shoulders, 25.1/2" sleeves and 78" train from the waist to the end of the lace. Superb and elegant the gown dates from 1926 and is in Excellent condition with just two tiny scuff marks on the front.

Beguiling silver blue brocade evening gown and jacket having long trailing bow down the back and a cutaway front. The fabric is really pretty with a little bird design and the dress and jacket are fully lined. The gown fastens at the back with a zip and hook and eye, has a tag " L. Bettys, Boston Mass." Jacket measures 22" long, 34" bust, 16" sleeves and 13" across shoulders. Gown 48" long at front, 54" at back, 34" bust, 28" waist and 36" hips. Dating from 1950 and in very good overall condition, the lining has some colour fading on the bottom of the bows and the hem of the dress.
