Delightful white cotton and lace Christening gown having a pretty lace yoke, cutwork and embroidered little puffed sleeves with two matching panels up each side of the front. There is a layer of embroidered whitework above the Broderie Anglaise bottom of the gown that continues around the back. Enchanting white cotton Christening gown having an embroidered frill around the neck and cuffs. Broderie Anglaise interspersed with pintucks adorn the yoke, cuffs and around the bottom of the gown which finishes off with and embroidered frill. Fastening at the back with three hidden buttons and a self tie belt to the side. It was though that tying a belt to the back would cause some discomfort to the baby when lying down so many gowns were designed to tie at the side. Measuring 44" long, 22" chest, 8" armhole, 6" sleeves and 56" circumference around the bottom. Dating from c1890 and in Excellent condition.

Exquisite white cotton and lace Christening gown having lace around the high neck and sleeves. The pretty yoke has two vertical rows of frilled lace back and front with pintucks and lace around. The little puffed sleeves also have two rows of frilled lace and the front panel of the skirt has a layer of lace continuing down the front. Around the sides and back there are lace insertions having a 3" lace edging with a double layer of white cotton and lace trim. Measuring 37" long, 18" chest, 8.1/2" across shoulders and 84" circumference around the bottom. Fastening at the back with three press studs, dating from c1920 and in Excellent condition.

Splendid fine batiste and lace Christening gown having lace insertions on the yoke, lace around the waist and cuffs with eleven ruffles up the front and a further ruffle around the bottom. Fastening at the back with a tie at the neck and one at the waist. Measuring 34" long, at the front 31", 20" chest, 9" long sleeves including the frilled cuffs and 78" circumference. Spectacular Edwardian batiste and lace Christening gown having a lined bodice with lace and floral embroidered insertions and a lace frill featuring the floral theme around the bodice. There are three embroidered panels up the front of the skirt with 4.1/2" of lace around the sides and back of skirt. 4.1/2" lace drips from the sleeves and around the bottom, pulled in with white ribbons. Fastenig at the back with a drawstring ribbon and two press studs this is a beautiful gown in Excellent condition with just the ribbon being replaced and dating from c1910. Measuring 32" long, 20" chest, 9" across the shoulders and 9" around the armhole. Petticoat is extra for $70.00
